New U.S. trailer for CHLOE
The U.S. trailer for CHLOE starring Amanda Seyfried, Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson, Max Thieriot, and Nina Dobrev has been released. The film, directed by Atom Egoyan, tells the story of a jealous doctor who suspects that her husband is cheating on her. After she hires an escort to seduce her husband in order to test his fidelity, things begin to spiral out of control. The new trailer is basically the SFW version of the NSFW red band international trailer that we brought you back in January.
Even from the trailer, you can see that the moral of the story here is never hire a prostitute to seduce your husband. All jokes aside, it looks like CHLOE will be an excellent cat and mouse tale. See the trailer after the break.
Written by Erin Cressida Wilson (SECRETARY and FUR: AN IMAGINARY PORTRAIT OF DIANE ARBUS), this film is a remake of the French film, NATHALIE, which I have not seen but may be adding to my Netflix queue very soon. The trailer does a wonderful job of building tension and leaves you questioning who has the moral high-ground when all parties involved seem to be guilty.
I’m also keen to see Amanda Seyfreid in this film. This is quite a departure from her role in DEAR JOHN which opens this weekend.
