My apologies sir! I will answer for my crimes of mistyping, which is exactly the mistake I made here! Those darn 6 and 7 keys are right next to each other! Thank you for catching the error of my finger's ways!

To answer your question, I was mostly referring to the Sgt. Pepper album. Not just the cover art but the whole album insert which, I'm sure as you well know, is filled with cut & paste, collage-style artwork that we see echoed here in the poster for PARNASSUS.

I guess you could liken it to Yellow Submarine also, which is obviously a bit more cartoonish. Yet, if you look at Gilliam's earlier stuff, it features a lot of design that is very Yellow Submarine-esque. So, in a round about way, they come from the same place in the sense of imagery and design.

With that said, this poster is a beautiful example of Gilliam getting back to the style he is known for with films like BARON MUNCHAUSEN. A style that The Beatles also used to draw you into their magical world. Let's just hope the film is as magical as this poster makes it seem.

The Beatles were broken up by early 1970. To what artwork are you referring, good man? 1967's Sgt. Pepper? 1968's Yellow Submarine? 1966's Best of the Beatles, with Pete Best?

ANSWER FOR YOUR CRIMES.
