    The Kung Fu Kid 4

We now have officialal photos from THE KARATE KID remake starring Will Smith’s son, Jaden, and Jackie Chan, who is still not believed to be a son of Will Smith (not breaking news, right?). The film is set in China, obvious from the photos, as I think they are the only ones with a wall like that.

Check out the rest of the photos after jump.

In this new KARATE KID, a single mother moves to China with her son, Dre (Jaden). While there, Dre comes to learn and enjoy Karate through the teachings of Mr. Han (Chan), smiles and self-satisfaction probably ensue. Maybe even a montage where Dre learns a large amount of Karate knowledge in five tightly edited minutes? Seriously though, is there any way this movie won’t have a training montage? I would wager no more than negative twenty cents that it won’t.

This new KARATE KID comes out June 11th of next year. The three other photos are below.

I think its weird they turned a teen coming of age type story into a tween coming of age type story.

      Stupid.
    • I don't know...isn't it a little weird to go to China to learn Karate? Shouldn't it be the Kung Fu Kid?
    • It was actually called THE KUNG FU KID and then changed to THE KARATE KID. Not sure what happened, maybe those behind the film thought the same thing you as you then decided they still wanted it to be THE KARATE KID.
