We can all stop the fiery debates and screaming matches. The truth has been revealed. The upcoming live-action and CGI mash-up film adaptation (in 3D!) for the beloved classic cartoon, YOGI BEAR, now has an official synopsis. We've already spent a hefty amount of time discussing casting (Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake, Anna Faris, Tom Cavanagh, T.J. Miller, and Andrew Daly, to name a few), so it's only fair we prepare ourselves for all the fun in store for us.

Hit the jump to have all your questions answered.

"Everyone's favorite pic-a-nic basket-stealing bear comes to the big screen in YOGI BEAR. Jellystone Park has been losing business, so greedy Mayor Brown decides to shut it down and sell the land. That means families will no longer be able to experience the natural beauty of the outdoors -- and, even worse, Yogi and Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they've ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi must prove that he really is 'smarter than the average bear' as he and Boo Boo join forces with their old nemesis Ranger Smith to find a way to save Jellystone Park from closing forever."

It's a classic tale, really, reminiscent of both MEET THE DEEDLES and SKI PATROL. My biggest question remains, however, just how many times will we have pic-a-nic baskets thrown at our faces via 3D?

What do you guys think? Is this the sort of plot you anticipated?
