Sorry, guys, awards seasons isn’t even remotely over yet. As such, I’ve got the full list of nominees for 2009’s Orange British Academy Film Awards, which are better known as the BAFTAs. The BAFTAs are generally viewed as Britian’s answer to the Oscars, and are typically a good litmus test for how some of the more, ahem, prestigious award shows will go.

Despite being a British award, the BAFTAs are not limited to just British productions, though you’ll certainly see a certain skew to some of the more talked-about Brit performances and films of the 2009. For instance, the Best Picture race features four standards from the 2009 awards circuit – AVATAR, THE HURT LOCKER, PRECIOUS, and UP IN THE AIR. But that fifth place (which Movieline sagely points out) usually belongs to INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS. At the BAFTAs, it goes to AN EDUCATION. There’s also a lot of love for Sam Taylor-Wood’s John Lennon biopic, NOWHERE BOY. It doesn’t get more British than that.

Hit the jump to see the full list of nominees, and find out how you can actually vote on one of the awards!
