Back in August, Wilhem brought us the news that Paul Reubens was reviving his beloved character, Pee-wee Herman, for a live stage show in Los Angeles. The original dates for the show were for a limited run in November at the Music Box Theatre at the Fonda. Apparently, demand has been so high that the show has now been moved to the larger (and newer) Club Nokia at LA Live for a longer run of dates in January and February.

Music Box ticket-holders will be able to exchange for new tickets, so don’t freak out just yet. New tickets for the revised dates will be available starting on October 15. Hit the jump to see all the details on dates, times, and purchasing!

Ticket-holders to The Music Box Theatre may exchange tickets by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-653-8000, starting Wednesday, October 7 at 10AM.

Public on-sale for Club Nokia @ LA Live starts Thursday, October 15 at 10AM, through Ticketmaster by calling 1-800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com.

    Ticket prices run from $29.50 – $125.00

The new Club Nokia performance dates are:
    January 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 at 8 PM
    January 16 at 4:30 PM
January 17 at 4 PM and 7:30 PM
    January 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 at 8 PM

Here is what really happens when the venue changes: -Have to spend an hour and a half on the phone with ticket master only to find out that our "comparable" seats are not-so comparable. We had a front row table for 4, our best seat we could purchase yesterday would have been in the 200's - this is because there is a reserved VIP section in the front-so anyone who previously had front row seats would have to pay more than double to get those seats again-in a much larger venue. It will take 10 days for the almost $400 we spent on 4 tickets to be refunded to our account-which meant we could not purchase the replacement tickets yesterday-which meant-we won't even have seats in the 200's at this point. -Since the date is moved to January-we lose $125 on our non-refundable rental car -We lose over $150 to transfer the dates of our plane tickets -We lose the deposit on our condo we rented for the weekend -We have to juggle to change our vacation days at our jobs that were already approved for December. So, bringing the show to a larger audience at "Various ticket prices" - really just screws the true fans who bought tickets months ago. Thanks Pee Wee for thinkin' it through.
