    Pure Country

In a move that only seems sixteen or seventeen years too late for most people to care about, a new PURE COUNTRY movie, A PURE COUNTRY GIFT, has been announced. That’s right, SPIDER-MAN 4, watch your ass because there is going to be a sort-of sequel to PURE COUNTRY coming in. You better hope it does not start garnering all of the sequel attention of Hollywood.

PURE COUNTRY came out in 1992 and is a drama about a fictional country music star, starring real-life country music star George Strait. Strait will also be starring in A PURE COUNTRY GIFT.

A PURE COUNTRY GIFT will be directed by Chris Cain, who directed the first film. Chris Cain co-wrote this latest PURE COUNTRY film with his son, actor Dean Cain. Dean will also be playing a part in the film.

A PURE COUNTRY GIFT isn’t a straight-up sequel, but rather “a movie in the PURE COUNTRY genre,” according to Chris Cain. The film is about “three angels who give the gift of a beautiful singing voice to a baby girl.”

I can honestly say I did not expect to write about a PURE COUNTRY sequel today, but I kind of love the randomness of it. Maybe I will be writing about a ROCK-A-DOODLE sequel tomorrow. Doubtful, but this new PURE COUNTRY announcement has given me the hope needed to dream.

      'Bout time.
    • don't sell it short...while I have not seen the original I am a country fan and while George Strait is not my favorite (pretty far down on the list actually)...I know how crazy country fans can get about this man (first hand actually) and that in itself will bring the country of country of people out for this one I'm sure. Nothing as big as Twilight or anything but lots of Wal-Mart shoppers if you get what I'm saying :D
