Ranger Smith role in YOGI BEAR movie filled
The live action/CGI animated YOGI BEAR film already has its voice for the picnic basket-loving bear in Dan Aykroyd, as well as the voice of Yogi’s sidekick Boo-Boo, thanks to none other than the guy who brought sexy back, Justin Timberlake (I think Dr. Phil was the reason it left). The lead female and non-CGI role of a documentary filmmaker is covered, thanks to one of the funniest girls in Hollywood, Anna Faris.
And now, another major role in the YOGI BEAR movie has been filled. Tom Cavanagh, who starred as Ed Stevens on the TV show “Ed,” will be playing the role of Ranger Smith. The man who tries to stop Yogi’s antics, Ranger Smith will also become the love interest of Faris’ character.
Cavanagh has shown he is a funny guy in past roles, and I think he will have a lot of fun playing the role of Ranger Smith. Count me as a fan of this decision.
What do you think? Do you like the idea of Cavanagh playing Ranger Smith?
