Robin Williams considered for Susan Boyle biopic
Back in April, the Daily Mail reported that Catherine Zeta-Jones was desperate to play Susan Boyle in an upcoming biopic. This weekend came reports that Robin Williams is also being considered for the role. It may not be a stretch to imagine Williams donning drag to play a Scottish spinster type character, but this has to be the first time he is being considered for the same role as Mrs. Michael Douglas.
Miss Boyle became a star after her performance of "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables on television show "Britain's Got Talent." Williams is quoted as saying, "I've been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie. I think she's incredible. That clip of her singing on 'Britain's Got Talent' was extraordinary. So inspiring. It was quite a shock when she began to sing."
A movie about Susan Boyle doesn't really seem all that interesting. I mean, if I wanted to watch the evolution of a cat lady, I'd prefer to watch GREY GARDENS, or sit in front of the mirror for two hours (silent tear). There are so many low brow or eyebrow jokes that could be made, but I think I'll leave that up to you guys in the comments section.
