That is the late comedian Bill Hicks on the left and Russel Crow on the right. See the resemblance? Well, according to Sydney Morning Harold, Crow might be playing Hicks in an upcoming film.

Crow told the Harold, “”I have another project based on the life of comedian Bill Hicks, which is going from treatment to draft stage with Kiwi writer Mark Staufer.” I’m intrigued by the idea of tough guy Russel Crow playing a drug addict comedian, so hopefully we’ll see this project come to fruition soon. For those of you who don’t know who Bill Hicks is, he was a controversial stand-up comic during the 80s and early 90s. He died of pancreatic cancer in 1994 at the age of 32.
