SEASON OF THE WITCH trailer
The full-length trailer for SEASON OF THE WITCH just premiered over at Fandango. It gives us a much better look at the film than that Halloween sneak peek that was released exactly one month ago. From the looks of it, the film is an old-fashioned mythology movie with a good bit of horror mixed in.
SEASON OF THE WITCH, directed by Dominic Sena (SWORDFISH), tells the tale of a powerful witch who has been captured and is being transported to a far-off land so that her powers, believed to possibly be the source of the Black Plague, can be disposed of. Unfortunately for her, she is being transported by a band of knights, led by Nicolas Cage and Nicolas Cage's flowing locks. Yet, when the knights arrive at their location "a horrific discovery jeopardizes the knight’s pledge to ensure the girl fair treatment, and pits them against an inexplicably powerful and destructive force.”
The film also stars Ron Perlman (HELLBOY) and Christopher Lee (LORD OF THE RINGS). SEASON OF THE WITCH reunites Sena and Cage, who last worked together on 2000's GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS.
