Fantastic Mr Fox Gets Set Photos

Roald Dahl wrote not just one, but several iconic children’s books, including “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “James and the Giant Peach,” “Matilda” and of course “Fantastic Mr. Fox.” The world will soon see Dahl’s wonderful imagery from FOX come alive thanks to auteur director Wes Anderson (THE ROYAL TENANBAUMS). A new featurette is here to show us just how immersed Anderson became in the Dahl universe.

FANTASTIC MR. FOX uses stop motion animation and features a whole slew of recognizable voices (George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Jason Schwartzman, Adrien Brody, Brian Cox), bringing to life the story of Mr. Fox, Mrs. Fox, and their animal friends as they battle three evil farmers out to exterminate them.

Check out this lovely new featurette, which explores Anderson’s process of transferring Dahl’s imaginative stories from the white page to the silver screen. The video also feature’s Dahl’s sweet widow, who gives her definite seal of approval on Anderson & Co.’s adaptation.

Check it out after the jump!
