  • Simon Pegg is not an Inglorious Bastard

I took this past weekend to cement my love for Simon Pegg by finally watching his brilliant television series ‘Spaced’. I’d been putting it off for years and since Pegg is coming to Dallas next week, I figured this would be as good a time as any. So, after having rediscovered my admiration for Pegg, imagine my disappointment to learn that he would not be part of Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming movie INGLORIOUS BASTARDS.

According to Simon Pegg’s Myspace blog, there were scheduling difficulties that were impossible to work around. Pegg would have been a great addition to the growing cast, but this does leave him with time to work on his next movie PAUL! Even more exciting is the announcement that Greg Mottola (the man who brought us SUPERBAD last summer) will be directing PAUL. Little is known about the movie right now, other than it will be about two British friends who take a road trip across America, with a script by Pegg and Nick Frost.

    1. Weird, I also breezed through the DVD of Spaced last week. I’d watched it pirated online, but was dying for the commentary. SO GOOD.

Wilhem’s a big fan of the show, I have yet to see it
