SXSW 2011: A Brief History of Title Design is a must watch
In honor of SXSW's Title Design Competition, Ian Albinson (Editor-in-chief and Founder of Art of the Title.com) edited together A Brief History of Title Design, a beautiful and breathtaking 2:32 montage of some of film's most fantastic uses of fonts and typography, all set to RJD2's "Ghostwriter." Being a bit of a font freak and design dork myself, I found myself spitting out my alphabet soup in excitement.
Check out the video after the break, along with a complete list of the included films from INTOLERANCE to ENTER THE VOID. Strangely enough, there is no inclusion of any opening sequences from a Wes Anderson film.
