Ten animated shorts vie for Academy Award nominations
Last week, Wilhem told us about the twenty animated features competing for the Academy Award nomination. Today, we’ve got the list of the ten animated shorts seeking their own noms. The Short Films and Feature Animation Branch members from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have viewed all ten, and will now whittle the list down to the five official nominees.
The 82nd Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 5:30 AM (Pacific Time). The Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2009 will be presented on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Kodak Theatre.
