Time to celebrate folks, the trailer for THE SLAMMIN’ SALMON is finallllllly on the Internet! Broken Lizard is back with another flick, but this time it’s set at a restaurant. Michael Clarke Duncan stars as “Slammin” Cleon Salmon, former heavyweight boxing champ turned seafood restaurant owner. He loses a paddle while gambling up shit creek, and subsequently has to use his intimidation and punching skills to encourage his waitstaff (Broken Lizard’s Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, along with Cobie Smulders and April Bowlby) to sell a lot of food. And just for the halibut, he tells them the top seller of the night gets $10,000. Lots and lots of hilarity ensues.
This movie’s also jam-packed like sardines in a tin with celebrity cameos – Vivica A. Fox, Olivia Munn, Michael Jai White, Will Forte, and Lance Henriksen (who was in ALIENS and HARD TARGET and will always have a special place in my heart), so I’m not assuming, but expecting, a good time.
