Tim Burton directs a commercial
This commercial is proof positive that Tim Burton hasn’t lost that classic touch that originally brought him so much support. Yes, movies like ALICE IN WONDERLAND and SWEENEY TODD are distinctly Burton in their style, some of his aesthetic might be overshadowed by the grand production values.
To me, Burton is at his best when he keeps it simple and that’s exactly what he does for MoMA (the Museum of Modern Art in New York), in this new commercial advertising a career retrospective of the director. The exhibit will be made up of sketches, props, and costumes from some of his most famous movies, as well as some screenings. It takes place between November 18, 2009 and April 26, 2010. Check out the website for more info and you can see the commercial after the jump.
