Jackie Chan is doing what so many action stars have done before him, and starring in a movie where he plays a tough guy with deadly skills who is forced to help look after trouble-making kids for some wacky reason.

Arnold did it, Hulk Hogan did it, Vin Diesel did it, and now with the trailer for THE SPY NEXT DOOR, we get a preview of Jackie Chan doing it. However, there is one unforgivable element to THE SPY NEXT DOOR that those other actors’ kid-friendly films didn’t have – Billy Ray Cyrus. This trailer starts off as a preview of another fairly lame-looking kid centered action-comedy and becomes a bitter reminder that Billy Ray Cyrus was not punished for his high crime against the spirit of humanity by recording the song “Achy Breaky Heart.”

THE SPY NEXT DOOR is (not surprisingly) being released in January, when the studios tend to release many of their lesser films.
