Trailer: MANUAL OF LOVE 3
Talk about a random addition to the filmography of one Robert De Niro.
Just last summer, news hit of De Niro’s casting in the third entry in the Italian omnibus series, MANUAL OF LOVE 3. Well, thanks to CinemaNotizie (via Bleeding Cool), we have our first look at the film, and I must say, it actually looks quite impressive.
The film stars De Niro and Monica Bellucci, who play a divorced American professor and his love interest, respectively. The series’ closest kin are the I LOVE YOU films such as PARIS, JE T’AIME and NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU, and this looks to be a truly interesting omnibus project. MANUAL is directed by Giovanni Veronesit, and features several stories that look at love at various stages through a series of shorts. One of the year’s more compelling releases, it’s an interesting project with regards to the recent career of Robert De Niro, an actor who hasn’t truly given us much to be excited about for some time.

That all said, this trailer looks gorgeous, sexy, and interesting, so hopefully the film will find a domestic distributor to bring it stateside.
