“We’re the folks with the crossbows.”
That’s one of my favorite lines from a movie, and it happens to come from DAYBREAKERS. I was lucky enough to catch DAYBREAKERS at this year’s Fantastic Fest. You will have to wait until the film’s opening week to read our full review, but I can tell you, every GATWer that attended the screening really, really dug it.
Lionsgate just sent us over two new images from the film, one of which you can see above, and the other after the jump. The top is my favorite, which includes “Elvis” (the always, ALWAYS awesome Willem Dafoe) ‘bowed up and ready to end some baddie vamps. The other features the cool-looking Ethan Hawke as “Edward,” waiting for his train. Check out the “Capture Humans” banner with Uncle Sam behind him.
DAYBREAKERS hits theaters January 8th, 2010! Make sure to come back, as we’ll post a cool video interview with DAYBREAKERS writer/directors, The Spierig Brothers!
DAYBREAKERS follows Edward Dalton (Ethan Hawke), a vampire researcher in the year 2019 who’s trying to find a cure for the unknown plague that’s transformed the world’s population into vampires. Blood is running low and vamps are starting to turn on one another for survival. Things change when a group of humans come to Edward with a cure that could possibly save the human race.
