Watch Edward Norton play twins in LEAVES OF GRASS trailer
Edward Norton plays a pair of two very different twins in LEAVES OF GRASS; one twin is a pot dealer, the other is a college professor. The film appears to be a comedy of errors as the professor goes back home because he believes his brother has died, and winds up in the middle of his brother’s shenanigans (always a fun word to use). LEAVES OF GRASS also looks like the lightest film film directed by Tim Blake Nelson so far. Nelson previously directed THE GRAY ZONE, which has to do with the Holocaust, so I think that is all I have to same about that film in regards to heavy themes. Nelson also directed EYE OF GOD and O, a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “Othello.” Neither film is a smile parade, trust me.
