Will HALF-BLOOD PRINCE’s PG rating affect its box-office?
Not. At. All. Early buzz says this is the best Potter film yet. The PG rating will ease parental guidance in letting their dirty-minded 12 year old see the film, but some people believe the rating will sway away teenagers and older adults who want more-scare-less-child-play. The lowest-grossing Potter film, THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, was rated PG.
I believe when one throws in that argument, it will still not matter because Potter Heads are true to Harry and his crew and will ride this PG-stricken journey to the end if they have to!
I could be wrong terribly, though - we shall see come July 15!
