    The Book of Eli Poster

    This contest is now over!

One thing I’m looking forward to in 2010 is Denzel Washington as Eli, the lone warrior in a post-apocalyptic world who carries a sacred book that’s the key to saving mankind. That sacred book is also a hot item along the people in the film we call bad guys. I’m so antsy to watch Denzel kicks some ass, that we’re throwing a screening of THE BOOK OF ELI in Dallas and we want you there! For your chance to win passes, all you have to do is fill out the form after the jump. On Monday, January 11th, we will randomly select and announce the winners.

The screening will take place on Thursday, January 14 at 7:30 PM in Dallas, TX. Please only enter if you can surely attend. Only one entry per household. Must be 17 or older to enter. No purchase necessary. Good luck!

Entry form is after the jump.

THE BOOK OF ELI is an action adventure about a man who has a goal and will not be stopped. It stars Denzel Washington as Eli, who walks alone across the dangerous wasteland that once was America, driven by his commitment to this goal and the faith to see it through, whether that faith is in himself or in something greater. In a world set 30-40 years in the future, decimated by some unspecified global disaster, Eli is on a mission to bring what remains of humanity the knowledge that could be its redemption. The film is directed by Allen and Albert Hughes, who made a brilliant Hollywood debut at age 20 with “Menace II Society” and went on to direct “Dead Presidents” and “From Hell.”
