Zooey Deschanel is a fantastic actress that is easy to fall in love with, so it brings me great joy to tell you all that she has been added to the already stellar cast of YOUR HIGHNESS. She is joining Natalie Portman, Danny McBride, and James Franco in David Gordon Green’s period piece comedy that is sure to tickle your funny bone.
“Danny McBride stars as an arrogant, lazy prince named Thadeous who must complete a quest to save his father’s kingdom. Joining him on the quest is his more heroic brother, played by James Franco, and Belladonna, Franco’s “virginal bride,” played by Deschanel. Natalie Portman is also on board to play McBride’s love interest, a warrior princess.”
This is yet another project that restores my hope in the future of Hollywood. News like this helps me to quickly forget about this or that crappy remake. I cannot wait for this film to complete production and grace theaters.
