24th Bond film set to bow in 2014? Without Craig?

As the 23rd entry in the James Bond film franchise makes its way to theaters on November 9th, Sony is looking to the future, and have already given us a look into when we may be able to expect yet another film following 007.

During Sony’s CinemaCon presentation, one Rory Bruer, Sony's President of Worldwide Distribution, revealed that the film will be hitting theaters during the holiday season in 2014.  That’s right, only two years from the release of the next film, we'll be getting its follow-up.

However, at this point, it’s unknown as to whether or not star Daniel Craig will be returning. Only holding a contract for three films with an optional fourth, Craig isn’t required to return to the franchise with a SKYFALL follow-up, so the chances are rather open to his return. Personally, I’d love to see him return, but at this point, I’m not all that scared to see him jump ship. I think there is a cavalcade of names that could take up this franchise with great results.
