Neil Marshall doing the 3-D thing

One of the better directors currently working in the horror genre is taking part in one of the biggest trends currently occurring in the horror genre. That trend of course being 3-D. Neil Marshall, director of the far above-average horror films DOG SOLDIERS and THE DESCENT, as well as the end-of-the-world thriller DOOMSDAY, has signed to direct BURST 3-D.

The film's synopsis is about as simple as its title:
"A group of stranded travelers meet during a blizzard and get stalked by a malevolent force that makes people spontaneously combust."

The film's premise seems like it could get really old, really fast. People 3-D! However, Marshall is certified awesome. Plus, he hasn't made a bad horror film yet. The man has certainly done enough to earn our faith, even if the plot for BURST 3-D doesn't sound that interesting. I believe in Neil, so please don't let BURST 3-D burst our bubble? Pleeeaaassse?

Also agree with #1. Every single time First Blood is on TV I watch it (which has been happening a lot on AMC). Just a damn good movie. Really original protagonist and some really good antagonists too.
