Last week, we brought you a few new posters for WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, each one featuring a different character from the film. Well, as you may have guessed, they don't stop there. Cinematical got their monstrous paws on five new and exclusive character posters for the film. One of these you may have already spotted at your local IMAX cinema, standing as tall as Carol herself.

The images, with the attention to character detail and emotion-filled faces, are enough to capture the heart of any fan of the beloved book, both young and old. I am truly excited to see this film bring forth the joy and imagination to a whole new audience of children and adults alike, just as it did for me, from a young age and even now in my young adulthood.

People spend their lives trying to grow up. It is a story like WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE that reminds us that maybe we shouldn't be in such a hurry to do so. And that maybe, just maybe, we should always leave a little bit of the kid in us. We will all have this opportunity come October 16th, as Spike Jonze shares with us his long-awaited vision of Maurice Sendak's tale of a far-off land of wonder, wild things, and a boy in his wolf costume.

Check out the posters after the jump!
