With nothing but the greatest of things coming out of test screenings with regards to the upcoming comedy, 50/50, the team of director Jonathan Levine, star Seth Rogen, and co-producer Evan Goldberg are getting ready to get back together for a new project.

Along with writer Will Reiser, the foursome have revealed (hat tip to The Playlist) that they will be working on a road trip comedy entitled JAMAICA.

The film will be based on a vacation Reiser took to Jamaica with his grandmother at the age of 14, and will be fast tracked by Mandate who flipped for it after it was pitched. Levine will direct and co-write the film, with Rogen and Goldberg set to produce.

Personally, while I haven’t seen 50/50, I do know that the film’s screenplay is an absolute killer, so this is definitely a project that has a lot of momentum. I think Reiser is an impeccably talented writer, so anything this man does from here on out will be absolute must-see material. Toss in Levine as a filmmaker, and this sounds like one hell of a teaming.
