The trailer for A DANGEROUS METHOD hits

David Cronenberg’s A DANGEROUS METHOD accounts for the relationship between Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud as effected by Sabina Spielrein. With a story like that, a director like Cronenberg, and actors like Michael Fassbender, Viggo Mortensen, and Keira Knightley in the leading roles, it’s easily one of the most anticipated art-house titles of the year.

It was recently revealed that the film would kick off at the Venice Film Festival; now we have a trailer for it. It’s essentially everything one might expect it to be: dark, engaging, superbly performed, and it doesn’t give away too much about the film itself. Knightley’s performance appears to be emotionally engaging and might be the most interesting to watch, while Fassbender and Mortensen look to be in fine form as well.

You can check out the trailer over at the official site.
