Al Pacino will help kill you

Al Pacino was a fantastic actor, and I know he still is, but lately he has seemed unable to get any good parts. All of this could change now that Pacino is set to star as Dr. Jack Kevorkian in HBO's telepic. This is one role that I do think Pacino can pull off well. Additionally, this film promises plenty of controversy, launching the man into the spotlight once again.

"The film will revolve around Kevorkian's construction of his infamous 'Mercy Machine,' his first assisted suicide in the early 1990s and the resulting media frenzy. Kevorkian was convicted of second-degree murder in 1999 as a result of his involvement in an assisted suicide that was videotaped and later shown on TV. He was released from prison in 2007."

I do hope this film turns out to be the thought-provoking and striking punch that I think this material could potentially be.
