Alison Brie joins Judd Apatow’s FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT
Community regular Alison Brie has been added to the cast of the Judd Apatow-produced comedy FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT, Variety has confirmed.
Set to be directed by GET HIM TO THE GREEK'S Nicholas Stoller, Brie will star opposite Emily Blunt and Jason Segal, who co-wrote the screenplay.
FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT is set up at Universal Pictures and centers on a couple who, very enthusiastically, become engaged. The film then follows them over five years of not getting married and just being engaged…break ups, cross country moves, meeting new people, basically about the fluidity of relationships in your 20's.
Brie, who has a role in Wes Craven's forthcoming SCREAM 4, will portray Blunt's younger sister.
Production on FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT is penciled in to commence this summer, once Brie ties up filming on Community, and production wraps on Rian Johnson's currently-in-development sci-fi thriller LOOPER, starring Blunt.
