Disney Animation has an upcoming film that is sure to get the attention of video gamers out there, called WRECK-IT RALPH. The film follows a character of a classic arcade game, as he tries to turn a new leaf and go from villain to hero. He get's the opportunity after the arcade closes, when all the game characters begin to mingle.

An exciting aspect of the film, is that it seems to have lots of cameos lined up with real video game characters, in the same vein as ROGER RABBIT. You can hit the break for a few of the cameos known.

Although we probably only know a small number, compared to ultimately how many will end up in the finished product, it is still awesome to get a few that are confirmed. You can expect to see Bowser (Super Mario Bros.), Doctor Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog), A Ghost (Pac-Man), Zangief (Street Fighter), Coily the Snake (Q*bert), and Kano (Mortal Kombat).

It is kind of surprising to see some of these characters, especially Bowser, showing up in the film. Nintendo is known for being extremely protective to the integrity of their characters, which has caused very little to be done with them outside of their respective game series. Of course, we'll never forget the Mario movie.

Hopefully there are some other great cameos lined up. From the few we know, it's going to be really exciting to see how they are all handled.
