Attention DFW filmmakers! Regular call for entries for the Dallas International Film Fest ends tomorrow!
As the 5th annual Dallas International Film Festival will be here before you know it (March 31st-April 10th, 2011 to be exact), the deadlines for film entries are closing in. Tomorrow – Friday, December 3rd – marks the regular deadline, which will save all you starving artists a good bit of money to submit your film. After all, DIFF was named “25 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee,” by MovieMaker Magazine! But, if you may be putting the finishing touches on your color correction or your score, then there’s always the late deadline – Friday, December 17th.
Should you submit a film and be one of the lucky filmmakers to be accepted into the illustrious Dallas International Film Festival, you could win a pretty prize including a little funding for your next major motion picture (or funds to pay off all those credit cards you charged up in order to get your film made in the first place)! However you may decide to spend your winnings, there’s no debate that you’ll be rich, both in prizes and notoriety due to the attention you’ll gain from Dallas’ most premier of film events.
