Julian Stark

Julian Stark

It was one day in class upon writing about the intro scene to IRON MAN that someone suggested Julian to become a film writer, and why not? Julian has always loved movies: his first trip to the movies was for THE LION KING, his favorite movie growing up was BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and he’s assigned ratings to over a thousand films on Facebook. However, it took a viewing of Sidney Lumet’s 1976 classic NETWORK to make him want to write about the movies regularly…

So whenever he’s not shouting at television viewers Howard Beale-style or evading Faye Dunaway-approved gunfire, Julian is watching movies…or writing about them. He likes all kinds of films, but for him, there’s nothing like an old-fashioned character drama or a lushly orchestrated musical. He also approves of satires if they’re done correctly.

He’s working on getting his English degree with an emphasis in Journalism; he’s still debating on whether or not to minor in Awesomeness. There’s the occasional shouting at television viewers or evasion of Faye Dunaway-approved gunfire, but you can most often find Julian in the comfort of his nearest cinema.
