Today is a good day to be an animation fan. The Simpsons Banksyintro was one of the show's best moments in recent history and now we have word that Beavis and Butt-head are returning to cinemas this week, and in 3D.

The duo have been in MTV's pocket recently, with rumors about a new TV series as well as the possibility that we will get a second film. Well, thanks to JACKASS 3D we wont have to wait long to get a B&B fix. Read on for more details.

According to /Film, JACKASS 3D features a full 3D intro provided by Beavis and Butt-head. The pairing couldn't be more perfect. Both JACKASS and Beavis and Butt-head appeal to the same MTV audiences and encapsulate two fantastic generations of MTV fans.

Since the rumors have been floating around, could this mean that MTV is trying to get a feel for people's reaction to the duo? If JACKASS 3D's into plays well with audiences it could mean that MTV will want to push future projects with Beavis and Butt-head forward. As someone who was a fan of the show as a kid, I would love to see the show return for this era of music. Hell, MTV could even produce more B&B shorts with Mike Judge and I'd be satisfied. Either way, I'm now more convinced that I will enjoy the hell out of JACKASS 3D. Stupid is as stupid does.
