MTV has brought us video from their recent visit to Wales, where they dropped in on the set of CLASH OF THE TITANS, giving us a peak into what we can expect from this remake of the classic epic.

Check out the video to see actors Sam Worthington (TERMINATOR SALVATION), Liam Cunningham (BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE), Mads Mikkelsen (CASINO ROYALE), Nicholas Hoult (ABOUT A BOY) AND Gemma Arterton (QUANTUM OF SOLACE) talk about their respective roles, remaking a classic and what is in store for this new take on the old tale. Something tells me there will have a serious lack of stop motion winged horses, which is disappointing to say the least. If you have not yet seen 1981's CLASH OF THE TITANS, with effects by the late, great Ray Harryhausen, then I highly suggest you do so. It is right up there with KRULL and LEGEND as one the classics.

The film tells the story of Perseus, a young warrior and bastard son of Zues, on a quest to save the beautiful Princess Andromeda. Yet, two evils stand in his way, The first being the evil, snake-headed Medusa, who turns men to stone with just a single glance. The second being the Kraken, a giant sea monster that makes both the mega shark and giant octopus look like aquarium exhibits.

CLASH OF THE TITANS, directed by Louis Leterrier (THE INCREDIBLE HULK), hits theaters next summer, on March 26th.

You actually referenced Mega Shark and Giant Octopus in this piece. Just when I thought I couldn't love you any more…
