Ever since his instant classic, CITY OF GOD, Fernando Meirelles has been on a rather downhill streak.

Well, despite not quite making classics out of THE CONSTANT GARDENER and BLINDNESS, the director is back, and he’s nabbed one more actor for his upcoming film, 360, making is one of the year’s more interesting projects.

Deadline is reporting that Ben Foster has joined the film, which “examines sexual morals within and between social classes, using various pairs of characters who have sexual encounters in and outside of their social classes.” The film is based off of a play by Arthur Schnitzler, and was previously made into a film, LA RONDE, in 1950.

Personally, while Meirelles’ recent streak hasn’t been great, this film sounds like a winner. Foster joins Rachel Weisz and Anthony Hopkins, and definitely adds an interesting touch to this already great sounding film. I love the premise, so all around, this film sounds like an absolute winner.
