Benicio Del Toro

Benicio Del Toro will be directing one of seven segments in 7 DAYS IN  HAVANA. The film is made up of seven different segments, each representing a different day of the week. Each director’s segment will feature a day in Havana with emphasis on their surroundings. The film will feature reoccurring characters throughout the segments to string the storylines together. The other six directors include Laurent Cantet, Gaspar Noe, Elia Suleiman, Pablo Trapero, Julio Medem, and Juan Carlos Tabio.

Del Toro’s segment is Monday, and will be a documentary starring Josh Hutcherson.

Hutcherson recently starred in THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT and just recently finished shooting JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND, the sequel to JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. Monday will feature Hutcherson as he encounters Havana and its culture  for the very first time.

The segment will be produced by Full House and Moreno Films along with Alvaro Longoria. Laura Bickford, who also produced CHE with Del Toro, will be serving as executive producer.
