Variety is reporting that Michael C. Hall, whose fame is largely derivative of the Showtime hit Dexter, has signed for the starring role in the indie comedy EAST FIFTH BLISS. Alongside him, Brie Larson and Lucy Liu will fill out the supporting cast. More information on the film and its cast, after the jump.

The film, which is being adapted from the 2007 novel of the same name which won the Benjamin Franklin Award for Fiction. The director assigned to the project, Michael Knowles, is helping to adapt the source material along with the novel's author, Douglas Light.

Hall will play a mid-thirties guy, whose life is slowly unraveling. His painful, yet comically poignant, downward spiral is expedited when he begins a slightly inappropriate relationship with an 18-year-old-girl (Brie Larson). According to the report, Lucy Liu will play one of Hall's unmarried neighbors. Expect sexual tension.

I realize that I'm probably one of only three people left on the planet to have resisted the Dexter phenomenon. I watched the first few episodes and simply can't get into it. However, I've seen his work in 2009's GAMER. The film was terrible, but speckled moments of greatness graced the celluloid for the moments that Hall was on screen. He was quite hilarious, and I'm very interested to see what kind of comedy he can employ.

Brie Larson's upcoming role in SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD will undoubtedly win her even more fame, in addition to what she's already collected from her role on UNITED STATES OF TARA. Lucy Liu's existing starpower should bring this film more attention, that is if Michael C. Hall hasn't already. We don't have a release date yet, but I'm already interested. Any thoughts?

Exceptional article, I personally enjoy designer jewelry very much, particularly Tiffany jewelry, that is what I took part in. With the contribution, I do believe a lot more womans know the real styles with what jewellery may bring. Really like your web log.
