Brooklyn Decker will learn WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING

Well, this is rather interesting news. ComingSoon reports that model-turned-actress Brooklyn Decker will star in Kirk Jones’s WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING, a romantic comedy that will weave together the stories of four couples and their different experiences with having babies (think LOVE ACTUALLY but with the trials and tribulations of bringing children into the world). The film derives from Heidi Murkoff’s book of the same name.

Decker is on board for the role of the lively Skyler, a woman whose husband is much older than her; her experience carrying and giving birth to twins seems like a breeze, which doesn’t exactly float well with other characters in the film.

JUST GO WITH IT, starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, is Decker’s only film work to date, and while the film itself is tolerable at best, she’s quite good in it, brilliantly conveying the ditzy qualities and naiveties of her character. She should make a great addition to this cast that already includes Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz.
