BURIED trailer scares the pants off of us
Ten seconds after the credits rolled at Sundance this year, the blogosphere was ablaze with tweets praising BURIED. The overwhelming feeling seemed to be nothing short of “amazing.” I’m not really a scary movie guy, but even I’ll admit, this trailer rocks. It’s one of the best I’ve seen this year, hands down. It possesses a certain mystery I haven’t seen since the very first CLOVERFIELD trailer. I need to see this movie.

“Paul is a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it’s a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.”
Pretty sweet, right? All I know is, Paul Conroy is stuck in a box and needs to get out. I’m hooked. I also like the fact that we seem to know as much, if not just a little more, than our main character. We’re just as lost as he is.
BURIED hits theaters October 8. I’ll see you there. I’ll be the one in the back corner in the fetal position.
