And the Cannes news continues to roll on in.

Just a day after the lineup for this year’s Cannes Film Festival was announced, not only have we gotten our first look at the upcoming Dardenne brothers-directed, Cecile de France-starring drama, THE KID WITH THE BIKE, but now we have a brand new, French trailer for the project (hat tip to The Playlist for digging this up).

The film stars a young boy who, after being abandoned by his father at a children’s home, must come to terms with his rage surrounding the events. Starring de France, Thomas Doret, Jeremie Renier, and Fabrizio Rongione, the film will be premiering in competition at Cannes this year, and looks to be one of the most interesting projects showing on the Croisette.

The trailer may in fact be a bit hard to understand language-wise, but I feel as though the narrative is so very much a broad story, so one shouldn’t be too hard pressed to understand what’s going on. zit’s a really wonderful little trailer, and if one knows anything about the Dardenne brothers and their style of film, this is something to really keep an eye out for.
