At this point, you really just need to say the name "Aubrey Plaza," and I'm signed up for it. Whatever it is. It doesn't even have to be television show or a film anymore. Plaza is consistently turning in outstanding work on Parks and Recreation, as her character's married life with Chris Pratt's Andy somehow strikes the bizarre balance between endearing, terrifying, believable, and hilarious. This is a couple that can make eating off Frisbees look both desirable and funny. Plaza has now joined up with SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED, the new independent film based on an Internet meme. Sold!

The cast already included director Lynn Shelton, Jenica Bergere, and Karan Soni, and it has now added a wealth of talent, including Plaza, Jeff Garlin, Kristen Bell, Mary Lynn Rajskub,Mark Duplass, and Jake Johnson. So it's safe to say this is going to be one hell of a funny movie.

Directed by Derek Connolly, the film "is based on the quirky real-life incident where a man took out a very serious classified ad seeking a companion for time travel, gravely intoning that you must bring your own weapons and warning 'safety not guaranteed'; it spawned an Internet meme." The film was scripted by Colin Trevorrow, and the Duplass brothers (Mark and Jay) will produce.

Duplass will play the guy who takes out the ad, with Johnson as a magazine writer who interviews him, along with his intern, to be played by Plaza. The film is said to center on Plaza's character, and the effects that Duplass' character unexpectedly has on both her and Johnson.

The film is set to start lensing next month.
