How refreshing to see John Travolta updating his look from THE TAKING OF PELHAM 1 2 3 for a more sleek, continental look! It appears he's taken any hair from his head and slapped it on his face. So Euro! Travolta is sporting his look on his character poster from FROM PARIS WITH LOVE, director Pierre Morel’s latest spy action flick. Like Morel’s previous effort (and surprising box office smash) TAKEN, this new film was co-written by action icon Luc Besson (director of THE PROFESSIONAL, LA FEMME NIKITA, and THE FIFTH ELEMENT). The film follows a U.S. ambassador (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and an American spy (John Travolta) trying to stop terrorists in Paris.

Despite Travolta's menacing facial hair, I sort of love these posters. Travolta is back in bad-ass mode, Rhys Meyers is working his sexy stare, and both of them are packing some serious heat that I suspect reflects their characters.
