Charlie Sheen makes a triumphant return to insanity
"I'm on a drug, it's called Charlie Sheen!"
I cannot express how excited I am to report that Charlie Sheen is officially crazy again. It's been awhile since we've seen Sheen go full-on nutso, but apparently that's because he's been saving all his energy for a public meltdown the likes of which only Gary Busey and Mel Gibson have ever experienced. While I think the worst insanity is still to come (as is evidenced in the 20/20 interview preview shown during the Oscar telecast), we've already received some nice psycho-nuggets thanks to the Today Show.
In an interview that aired this morning, Sheen revealed that he has two girlfriends, will be starring in a Roman Coppola movie, and wants Warner Bros. to rename itself Charlie Bros. That's just the tip of the iceberg, read on for more!
Here's some highlights from the Today Show interview:
“Come Wednesday morning [Warner Bros.] will rename [their studio] Charlie Brothers not Warner Brothers. Duh. Winning. Guys, IMDB, right there, 62 movies and a ton of success. Come on, bro, I won Best Picture at 20. I wasn’t even trying. Wasn’t even warm. I have Roman Coppola with a script. David Ward with ‘Major League 3.’ I got Nick Cassavetes with ‘God is a Bullet...they picked a fight with a warlock.”
Charlie Sheen, everybody, the great and powerful wizard of odd. He also slammed AA, saying that it is for "defeated" and weak "trolls." Does Sheen think he is living in Middle Earth? I honestly cannot wait for more Charlie Sheen insanity. I'm relatively positive none of those projects he talked about are happening and, if they were before, they certainly are not now.
I really think Charlie Sheen is setting himself up for an epic comeback, either that or he'll be on Dancing With The Stars in another year's time. Regardless, I'll be keeping my eye fixed on this amazing meltdown as it's a thousand times more interesting than Two And A Half Men on a good day.
