Be still mine heart. Emma Stone has a new movie.

Emma Stone, bombshell and apple of my eye, is starring in Will Gluck's EASY A. Now /Film has given us our first look at the project which also stars Amanda Bynes, Stanley Tucci and Lisa Kudrow. Here's the synopsis, via IMDB:

After a little white lie about losing her virginity gets out, a clean cut high school girl sees her life paralleling Hester Prynne's in "The Scarlet Letter," which she is currently studying in school - until she decides to use the rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing.

I'm not really sure how this relates to the above synopsis, but it's probably one of the most adorable things I've seen in a while. The director, Will Gluck (FIRED UP) is fairly green, but is fairly experienced in both writing and producing. I'm a big fan of beginning directors, so I'll go ahead and insert my own vote of confidence now. Plus Emma Stone is in it. Did I mention I like her?
