Chris Hemsworth offers up new info on AVENGERS
THOR's Chris Hemsworth recently hinted that the Norse God himself and the angry green giant Hulk will come to blows next year in Joss Whedon's comic book collision AVENGERS. The character of Thor is perpetually grumpy while enduring his banishment from Asgard here on Earth, and Hemsworth notes that there will be a great deal of friction between him and the other Avengers in the upcoming film.
This new info seems to still be in line with the storyline in Mark Millar's Marvel series The Ultimates, in which the Hulk becomes the villain, terrorizing the city and forcing the Avengers, along with the reluctant Thor, to go toe-to-toe with Bruce banner's unstoppable alter ego. Check out what else Hemsworth had to say about the film after the break.
Hemsworth also had this to say when he spoke with MTV News:
"I saw a very early draft and, yeah, it's incredible...Look, everything about the story in the comic books is huge. You have these huge, big superheroes and these huge, big egos kind of crammed into one small space. Reading the script, it was massive. I said to Joss [Whedon], 'I don't know how you're going to shoot this thing, but I'm excited to be on board and let's give it a go.'"
