Yes, because when something is holistically broken, it’s better off to try and avoid fixing it.

Cinematical has revealed that, during a junket for his upcoming film BATTLE: LOS ANGELES, director Jonathan Liebesman stated that his upcoming sequel to CLASH OF THE TITANS will unfortunately not be shot in 3D, but instead it will be converted into the format.

Now, apparently Liebesman also revealed that this is being conceived as a 3D film from the start, and will be shot for, but not in, the format, with editing also being for 3D, and shoots in 10 days.

Personally, while I was not a huge fan of the first film, CLASH’s primary issue came in both its uninteresting narrative, as well as its horrible 3D. Dark and just plain poor, the converted 3D was so inherently unnecessary and lacking in any sort of flavor, that it just felt completely superfluous.

Here’s to hoping that this film can prove me wrong, but it doesn’t seem like that will be the case. What do you think?
