Craig Robinson, Kerry Washington, and David Alan Grier join WE THE PEEPLES
Yes, because when I think child psychologist, the first name that pops into my head is Craig Robinson.
That’s exactly the case apparently, as according to THR, the actor, along with Kerry Washington and David Alan Grier (read: where the hell has he been?), have been cast in the upcoming film, WE THE PEEPLES, to be penned and directed by Tina Gordon Chism. She will be making her directorial debut, after making her name with films like DRUMLINE.
The film "follows what happens when a child psychologist (Robinson) surprises his girlfriend (Washington) by showing up at her political family's annual get-together at their Sag Harbor vacation home only to find them desperately in need of therapy." Count me out.
Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely adore Craig Robinson, and think that the guy is an amazingly talented comedic actor, and couldn’t be more in love with the gorgeous and talented Kerry Washington, but honestly, the project doesn’t sound all that interesting. Robinson doesn’t strike me as the type to either be a therapist, or the beau of Kerry Washington, so this just sounds more random than interesting.
What about you?
