CRAZIES remake is gonna be crazy

The CRAZIES was a campy horror film made by the Zombie King himself, George A. Romero. The remake, on the other hand, will be far from camp. This time, CRAZIES is boasting a big budget, better acting (hopefully), and effects aimed at scaring the hell out of its audiences. But don't worry, the story's the same.
"We're keeping the concept of the story that a bunch of people go nuts in a town... And we're keeping the idea that, can you trust or not trust your government to protect you when things go wrong. ... (But) we're putting a budget behind it and bringing it to life." --Radha Mitchell
Oh, and in case you think this is just going to be another zombie movie, director Breck Eisner has this to say to you: "This is not a zombie movie... This infection gets to the soul and to the core of your persona, and it heightens that which you already had."
That's right, these are living people that have heightened senses and abilities. They are Crazies!
